What the app is
PageRewind Uploader is a private tool run by the creator of the PageRewind YouTube channel on their own computer. It uploads the channel's own videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions and tags to YouTube. It is not offered to the public.
What data it accesses
When the channel owner signs in with Google, the app requests permission to upload videos to that YouTube channel
(YouTube Data API scope youtube.upload) and, separately, read-only access to the channel's own video list and
statistics (youtube.readonly, yt-analytics.readonly), used to see how the channel's videos perform.
It does not read your other Google data, and it does not access data of any other person.
How the data is used and stored
- The OAuth access tokens are used only to upload the channel owner's own video files and their metadata, and to read that channel's own statistics.
- The token is stored only locally on the channel owner's computer and is never sent anywhere except to Google.
- No data is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
PageRewind Uploader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube API usage is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The locally stored token can also be deleted by the owner, after which the app can no longer upload anything.
